We are thrilled to introduce Jacob Elliott as the newest member of the Achieving Beyond Brain Injury board! Jacob is currently in his second year of studying Computer Science at UOIT, where he continues to excel academically.
Jacob’s journey has been shaped by his deep love for sports, particularly hockey, which has been a significant part of his life. He also enjoys a variety of minor games like badminton, ping pong, corn hole, ladder ball, and can jam—simple, fun activities that allow him to connect and engage with friends while having a great time.
Jacob’s path took an unexpected turn at 17 years old when he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke caused by a ruptured AMV while practicing with his cross-country team. Despite this challenge, he remains enthusiastic and committed to making a positive impact.
We are excited to have Jacob join the Achieving Beyond Brain Injury family and look forward to the unique perspectives and contributions he will bring to our team!
